Welcome to Andy Carros' KIP Student Jump site
In April of 2007 I found myself laid off in an industry I had devoted 35 years to. I took this as a sign that I was given a chance to spend a few more years doing what I was comfortable with or jumping into something brand new. My wife and I had been speaking with her father, an artist, about exploiting him over the internet. Once he gave us his blessing we contacted a friend and neighbor who works for a record label and designs websites. We asked him to give the next door neighbor price for creating a website in his spare time. Once we were given his quote I had found my next career. No, the neighbor did not get the job. It was then that I knew what that brand new career was going to be. The folks at WIA had me do some extensive research to determine where I would begin my studies. KIP was one of many choices. For me it was the only choice. Starting over from scratch is one thing. Starting over with excellent credentials and a portfolio is quite another thing.
In the KIP program I want to master and apply all of the theory, technology and best practices being taught. I want to take what I learn and give those people who put their confidence in me the latest and best services available today.
